    Physical Therapy is medical care that generally focuses on conservative treatments to help decrease pain, improve strength/mobility, and restore function.

  • Do I need a prescription?

    No. New Jersey is a Direct Access state, and since 2003 – patients do not need a prescription or referral to see a physical therapist in the outpatient setting. Your therapist will refer you or collaborate with other physicians if indicated.

  • Do you take my insurance?

    We accept most major insurances. Including Medicare, BCBS, CIGNA, United Healthcare, Oxford, Workers Compensation, and No-Fault. There are many different health care plans, all with their own nuances - please call our office and we will verify your specific benefits before your first visit.

  • What should I wear?

    Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for access to your problem area, as well as the ability to move and perform some exercises.

  • What to expect on my first visit?

    You will be given a comprehensive examination and evaluation. We will discuss your functional limitations, problems, and most importantly – your goals. We will design and implement a custom treatment plan for you; this may include manual therapy, exercises, stretching, strengthening, and passive modalities.

  • What if my doctor recommends a different physical therapy practice?

    It is always your choice as the patient to choose where you receive treatment. Simply bring any documents and prescriptions with you or give us a call, and we can help you schedule your appointments.

  • How long is a typical physical therapy plan of care?

    Your individual plan of care will vary on your condition. After your first visit, your physical therapist will explain their expected length of time in therapy, frequency of weekly sessions, and mutually agreed upon goals/expectations.
